Harry Holman, MD

I have been in the insurance industry for over 15 years. I have worked for two of the top ten UK insurance companies and for smaller independent brokerages. I like to describe this as ‘having worked on both sides of the fence’.

I started as a commercial underwriter for NIG before making the transition to broking. This career path has helped me to gain invaluable knowledge of underwriting and the inner workings of insurance companies.

Knowing how insurance underwriters perceive risk and calculate premiums has given me a huge advantage in my role as a commercial broker over the years. I have a solid understanding how the leading UK insurance companies operate; understand how they make decisions and work hard to understand their internal structures and know their senior contacts. This means I can navigate various insurance departments quickly and efficiently to ensure my clients receive first-class cover, premiums and service.

I’m a retired semi-professional rugby player. I played for Exeter Chiefs and although I would describe myself as ‘happily retired’ from the sport, I very much enjoy watching them play and get to as many games as I can. I now enjoy the gym, golf, snowboarding and spending time with my family.

Katrina Holman

I bring a wealth of marketing operations and customer relations capability to HWH Associates. As Programme Manager for a successful National charity, covering Wiltshire and Dorset, I manage a staff of 15 coordinators and am responsible for assisting in the development of the charity by winning new and retaining existing contracts.

My experience enables me to understand the importance of good customer service and how to put and keep the customer at the heart and focus of the business. I take great pride in ensuring I listen to our client’s needs and try to match them to the best outcome. I have a true passion for my work.

In my personal life, I like to gain new experiences by visiting new places and different cultures. I love to exercise and enjoy brisk walks along the seafront, which also gives me time to reflect, clear my mind and start afresh after a long week. Another passion of mine is spending time with my family. Having two young girls means there is never a dull moment at home.

Sian Fletcher, Senior Account Handler

I have worked within the Financial Services industry all my working career.

My very first job was as a Commercial Underwriter for, who was back then, General Accident where Insurance premiums were calculated manually using various different manuals and not computers!  After 5 years I started working as a manager of one of the UK’s largest Insurance Brokers and for 7 years worked within the Devon area running both my own branch and staff whilst covering additional branches within the area.  I left the Insurance Brokers to work for a Building Society as a Mortgage Sales Manager then following redundancy worked as a Business Manager for 15 years before joining the team at HWH Insurance Brokers.

Outside work I enjoy spending valuable time with my family.  Together we love the beach, swimming and taking in the Devon scenery.

Zoe Holman, Operations Director

I am an experienced manager who has lead operations within a number of different departments and with a variety of teams and projects.

I worked at the University of London for 10+ years within a number of the professional services departments and academic institutions.

I relocated back to Exeter and was based at the University of Exeter for c.7 years in a variety of roles, which had an operations and delivery focus.

I have experience of running large events, designing and editing publications and of implementing new systems and processes into teams.

Outside of work, I enjoy enjoy swimming, yoga, cycling and walking. I have three boxer dogs, who are very big and bouncy and keep me very active.
